Women’s tennis places third at NWC

The Whitman women placed third at the NWC tournament in Yakima, Wash. on April 17 and 18. In the semis, the Missionaries fell to Linfield College for the third time this season, 5-1. They rebounded the next day to beat Pacific University, 6-0, to take third place. Whitworth University topped Linfield for the title. Whitman finishes the season with a 15-9 record.
